Chimney Bluffs Silhouettes

I was recently at Chimney Bluffs State Park near Rochester NY. Its a really cool place to walk the lake Ontario shoreline. Most pics I have seen from this place look like this one:

That was the type of image I was hoping to get, and I did. But the day before was even better :) There was a "fog" that rolled in and the bluffs tuned into really cool abstract shapes & tones that begged to be black & white!

Thank You UAS

I recently did a little photo shoot for my brother n laws band Under Artificial Skies.
The band did an earlier shoot with images of the singer tied up and hanging from a tree, with the other three members standing around him with bats. Really cool image. So this shoot was the singers revenge!
Thank you Russ, Shayne, Dave & Chris. I'm honoured to have my image used on you latest release!
This isn't the one they used but it is one of my faves.

Reduced to Ashes

Sometimes you come across a photographic opportunity that you can't pass up. When I first pulled up to this scene I was shooting frantically. It was very exciting. Then I slowed down and tried to concentrate on how beautiful fire can be.

By Wind & Water

This is a little slideshow I did on Antelope Canyon. As a photographer, definitely one of the most amazing places to experience. I would love to get back there someday!
As soon as I had taken these images I knew what music to use with them. The song is called "In the Caves of Iron Mountain" on an album of the same name by Tony Levin, Steve Gorn & Jerry Marotta.
Music like this sends chills down my spine, just like I felt when i took the images.

There is also an HD version on the slide shows page
