Bokeh-licious

The third directors challenge at the Welland Camera Club this year.
Bokeh-licious

Bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh has also been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light"

I ventured downtown Welland on a rainy night with my friend Peter to try and get some great bokeh. We experimented with nothing in focus and with a very small sliver of foreground in focus. Shooting like this definitely opens your mind to new possibilities !
Man I love these challenges.

  1. So Cool! Would love to make this a theme for one of our meetings, at one of my Clubs. Must make this suggestion at the next Directors meeting! Awesome shots, but daytime shots would work as well...with a bit of imagination....Wonderful work Darren. :)
