Variations of a Scene

Its always cool when you find that different variations of a scene work for you !

Shot @ 200mm and cropped the clouds from the top. I love the simplicity of the line in the foreground and how it leads you through the image.

Shot @ 85mm with a slight crop on an infrared converted camera. Incorporating the tree changes the whole composition.

Photo Sequence

If you haven't heard of the YouTube show "The Art of Photography" you should definitely check it out. Ted Forbes does a great show with lots of artistic approaches, techniques and insight into lots of older photographers work.
I have been following his latest photo assignments and was particularly inspired by the Photo Sequences. It is an interesting way to tell a little story with a few images. I have done some longer form photo essays which I love.          If you Go Away     Be My Baby     Eastern State Penn
But I really like these little comic strip style sequences or collages. Have to try this with more subjects.
